TempPix is built by Moodstone Technology Limited ("Moodstone", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the TempPix iOS application.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
- Your Photos and Images: All photos taken with TempPix, imported via Smart Sweep, or sent to TempPix via the Share Extension are stored locally and securely in a private gallery on your iPhone. We do not upload, host, or have any access to your images.
- Personal Data: We do not require you to create an account, nor do we collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.
2. Information Collected by Third-Party Services
While Moodstone does not collect your personal data, TempPix relies on third-party services for advertising and app stability. These services may collect certain information automatically:
Google AdMob (Advertising)
We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements within TempPix. AdMob may collect and process data—including IP addresses and device identifiers—to measure ad performance and provide personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on your region and consent preferences.
- TempPix utilizes Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to gather legally valid consent from users in applicable regions (such as the EEA, UK, and Switzerland).
- We do not request iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission, which restricts AdMob from tracking your behavior across other companies' apps and websites.

Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics)
We use Google Firebase to monitor app performance and identify bugs or crashes.
- Crashlytics: Automatically collects anonymous crash reports (e.g., device model, operating system version, and the stack trace) to help us fix issues rapidly.
- Analytics: Provides high-level, aggregated data on how the app is used (e.g., screens visited) so we can improve the user experience.
3. iOS Device Permissions
To function correctly, TempPix may request the following device permissions:
- Camera: Required to capture quick snapshots directly within the app.
- Photo Library: Required to save images to your main camera roll (if you choose to keep them) and for the Smart Sweep feature to scan your device for temporary photos (like screenshots or WhatsApp images). All scanning happens entirely locally on your device.
4. Children's Privacy
TempPix does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
